Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1.5 Cups Water
- 1.5 tablespoons Sugar
- 1 tablespoon Kosher Salt
- 2 teaspoons Yeast active dry yeast
- 3 tablespoons Olive oil
- 3 cups Bread flour
Instructions
- Water needs to be tempered water (105 degrees)
- Add sugar, olive oil, salt and yeast to water
- Stir and let set for 5 minutes so yeast can activate. Will see foam on top of water
- Add flour and mix. Suggest wearing nitrate gloves,.
- Dust flour on work space, after mixing transfer dough to work surface and kneed dough.
- Sprinkle flour on dough if it’s sticking to gloves.
- After kneeling hood, add a little olive oil to bottom of bowl and set dough in bowl.
- Cover with damp towel and let rise for an hour. Dough should double in size
- Remove dough from bowl and cut in 4ths. Sprinkle with some flour and work into ball
- Put 4 balls in cookie sheet cover and put in frid for 4 hours, min. Can leave over night
- When ready to make pizza remove from refrigerator and work doe into 12 to 14 inch pie.
