Easy Homemade Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 packet Instant Yeast
- 3 tbsp Granulated Sugar
- 1 tbsp Kosher Salt
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup Hot Water (135*)
Instructions
- Put all dry ingredients in the bowl of a stand mixer.
- Put beater paddle on mixer and turn to low speed.
- Fill measuring cup with the hottest water that will come out of your tap. (135 - 140*)
- Add 1 TBS of olive oil to hot water.
- Pour water into mixer. Turn speed to medium low.
- Mix until ingredients form a ball.
- Change to dough hook attachment and beat at medium speed for 15 minutes. This will create a shiny, firm dough ball.
- Grease inside of a zip top bag.
- Place dough ball inside bag.
- The dough ball can be used almost immediately or after a few hours of rising. You can also make the day before and place in fridge. Remove from fridge 3 to 4 hours before needed. (This creates a more yeasty flavored dough. Tasty!)
- When you are ready - press and stretch the dough out. If you have never done this before I am sure you can find a video to show you how to form a pizza. Add ingredients and place in a 500* oven on a cookie sheet or pizza stone for great pizza!
