Anita’s Pizza Dough - Cuisinart
Ingredients
- 2 1/2 Cups Unbleached flour
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Salt
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Sugar
- 1 Package Dry yeast
- 1 1/2 Teaspoons Oil
- 3/4 Cups 120° water
Instructions
- Whirl together dry ingredients for 5 seconds.Add oil and mix for 8 seconds. Add about 3/4 cups water in a trickle, until ball forms. Ball goes around 50 times. Knead a bit if sticky. Lightly flour the ball, let rise in covered bowl two hours until double. Knock it down. Oil, then corn meal in pan. Roll into pizza shape. Let rise 1/2 hour. (Or can refrigerate first.) Put on cool sauce, 1 1/2 cups, 8 ounces cheese, E TC. Bake less than 450° about 25 minutes.
