Pepperoni Thin Crust Pizza Recipe
Ingredients
- 200 gm pepperoni
- 2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup mushroom
- 2 teaspoon granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoon pizza sauce
- 1 cup cheese- goat cheese
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 pinches oregano
- water as required
Instructions
- To prepare the base of pizza, take a medium bowl and combine dry yeast with water. Add granulated sugar in the bowl and set it aside for 5 minutes. Add all purpose flour and wheat flour in it. Stir to mix the ingredients well. Drizzle some olive oil and sprinkle salt on it. Mix well with your hands and knead to make a soft dough. Cover the dough with a damp cloth and keep it aside.
- Meanwhile take a chopping board and cut vegetables into thin slices. Transfer the dough to a flat surface and flatten it with a rolling pin. Ensure the dough is thick enough to sustain the weight of toppings. Spread pizza sauce over pizza base and sprinkle grated cheese on it. Top it up with mushrooms slices and pepperoni.
- Preheat the oven at 220 degree Celsius and grease the baking sheet with butter. Carefully place pizza on baking sheet and bake it for 20 minutes. When pizza crust turns crisp and golden brown in colour, remove from oven. Transfer to a serving plate and sprinkle oregano over pizza. Serve hot with a sauce of your choice.
