Pizza Dough and Sauce
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tablespoons Yeast
- 3 cups Water hot tap water
- 3 teaspoons Salt
- 6 tablespoons Oil
- 8 cups Flour
- 2 teaspoons Sugar
- 2 cans Tomato paste
- 1 cup Water or wine
- 2 teaspoons Oregano
- 2 teaspoons Salt
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Oil
- 3 tablespoons Parmesan
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- Garlic to taste
Instructions
- In a large bowl add yeast to 4 cups of flour. Stir in water, salt and oil. Add remaining flour until dough is workable but not too stiff/dry. Knead until smooth and elastic. Oil dough and place in covered bowl in oven with light on until doubled. Punch down and let rise again until doubled. Punch down and divide into 4 balls. Pat out on pans.
- Top with Pizza Sauce, cheese and toppings. Bake at 400 - 425 for 15 - 20 minutes.
