Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1 package Quick-rise active dry yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon Sugar
  • 3 cups All purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 3/4 cup cool water

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to warm for a few minutes; then turn oven off. Stir warm water, yeast, and sugar together in an oven-proof bowl. Place in oven for 10 minutes until mixture is foamy.
  2. In large mixing bowl, use dough hooks to mix yeast mixture and remaining ingredients together until soft dough forms. Place in an oiled, covered bowl to rest for 30 minutes. Punch down dough, spread on pizza stone, brush top with olive oil & bake 10 minutes at 400* until slightly browned. Remove from oven and add pizza sauce and favorite pizza toppings, and cheese. Return to 400* oven and bake an additional 8-10 minutes or until pizza is done.
