Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups bread flour
  • 1 1/8 teaspoons dry active yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 cup water warm
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, dissolve the yeast and the sugar in the warm water. Let stand for approx. 10 minutes until creamy.
  2. Stir in the flour, salt and oil.
  3. Transfer to a floured surface and knead for approx. 5 minutes.
  4. Put into an oiled bowl and cover with a towel. Let the dough rise for at minimum 3 hours in a warm, dry place. Refrigerate overnight if necessary.
