Pizza Dough
Ingredients
- 1 Cup All purpose flour
- 1 Cup Semolina Flour
- 1.3 cups Italian 00 Flour
- 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast
- 1 teaspoon Granulated sugar
- 1.5 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 2 teaspoon Extra virgin olive oil
Instructions
- 1) In a 2 Cup measuring cup, add 1 1/4 cups of warm water
- 2) Add 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast and 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
- 3) Let stand for 3-5 minutes until the yeast mixture foams
- 4) Measure out the flour mixture in a 4 cup measuring cup
- 5) Insert dough blade in food processor and add the flour mixture, the 1.5 teaspoons of Kosher salt and the 2 teaspoons of olive oil
- 6) Run the food processor on dough speed while pouring in the yeast mixture slowly through the feed tube
- 7) Process until the dough cleans the sides of the work bowl (takes about a minute)
- 8) Remove dough from work bowl and form a dough ball or two and coat with olive oil and transfer to a zip top food storage bag
- 9) Let dough rise for 45 minutes to an hour
- 10) While dough is rising, make the pizza sauce and prepare any toppings
- 11) After dough rises, place on lightly floured surface and punch down and form pizza crusts (s)
