Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup All purpose flour
  • 1 Cup Semolina Flour
  • 1.3 cups Italian 00 Flour
  • 2 teaspoons Active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon Granulated sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoon Kosher Salt
  • 2 teaspoon Extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  1. 1) In a 2 Cup measuring cup, add 1 1/4 cups of warm water
  2. 2) Add 2 teaspoons of active dry yeast and 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
  3. 3) Let stand for 3-5 minutes until the yeast mixture foams
  4. 4) Measure out the flour mixture in a 4 cup measuring cup
  5. 5) Insert dough blade in food processor and add the flour mixture, the 1.5 teaspoons of Kosher salt and the 2 teaspoons of olive oil
  6. 6) Run the food processor on dough speed while pouring in the yeast mixture slowly through the feed tube
  7. 7) Process until the dough cleans the sides of the work bowl (takes about a minute)
  8. 8) Remove dough from work bowl and form a dough ball or two and coat with olive oil and transfer to a zip top food storage bag
  9. 9) Let dough rise for 45 minutes to an hour
  10. 10) While dough is rising, make the pizza sauce and prepare any toppings
  11. 11) After dough rises, place on lightly floured surface and punch down and form pizza crusts (s)
