Pizza Dough

Ingredients

  • 3 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons yeast
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/4 cups Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Pour warm water in small bowl. Add honey and salt. Mix until well blended. Add the yeast and mix some more. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy (will smell like beer.)
  2. Add 1 C of flour and olive oil and mix until well blended. Add rest of the flour 1 cup at a time (and any other additions - crushed garlic, herbs, etc). Knead until it balls up nicely. Let rise until doubled in size, about 45 minutes.
  3. Punch down, let rise for another hour. Roll out to desired size and thickness.
